About Me

Hi.  My name is  Shantell Maniscalco, and you have reached my blog about my dream job aspirations.  I am currently a graduate student at Full Sail University studying  Entertainment Business. I live on the gulf coast of Mississippi, am 37 years old and a mother of a 5 year old, 2 dogs and a cat.  I am a high school English teacher for our local public school.  I have taught for the past 14 years, but I hope to find new employment in the entertainment and/or sports industry upon completion of my Master’s Business Entertainment degree. 

My true desire is to be a part of the music world in the form of marketing, talent buying, and/or event planning.  If I could twinkle my nose and make my dream come true, I would become a tour coordinator for someone like Jason Mraz. I am fascinated with entertainers who can captivate audiences with words and beats.  I can name several of such whom I am completely in awe.  Music is my true passion, and  Full Sail and the master's program is my first step to ensure I reach my dream.  
         I also love to create.  I love shopping and creating pieces for outfits, house furniture, etc.  I love creating music and painting creatively.  I love creating gardens with beautiful shrubs and flowers, and I love creating places of comfort and peace.  Again, I love to create!  I love seeing my finished creations, and I love to share them with other creative people to gain feedback. My calling is loud and clear- Get into a job that allows my creative juices to flow.       

     I am a woman of many interests.  Again, I love music, art, football, and organization.  I plan to make an employer an exceptional employee one day by using my creative genius and organizational and planning skills.  All I need is a an opportunity .
